    Noticing Judgments

Noticing Judgments is a website made to make people aware of their judgments. On this website you can take a pledge to notice your judgments, as well as complete an 18 day course to notice specific judgments every two days. My hope is to get at least 500 people to pledge and to raise awareness about judgments. You will learn about all different types of judgments and how to be aware of them.

My Mitzvah Project

I was walking at a swimming pool one day and I realized how many judgments I was having about everything and everyone. A couple of people that I know have illnesses or disabilities, and I thought how hard it must be to feel like you were being judged. I realized that I could do something to make people aware of their own judgments.

A B'nai Mitzvah is a Jewish coming of age ceremony. When Jewish children become 12 or 13, they study to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah (Bar for boys and Bat for girls). As a part of this process, you get to do a Mitzvah project, where you do something to make a change in the world.

I thought about how I noticed myself judging, and I wanted to help people notice when they judge or feel judged by others. My project is this website, a way to spread knowledge about noticing judgments. I hope that I can make a difference in many peoples lives, in many places. I hope to get 500 people to pledge and do the 18 day course.
